Transit
Torrance Transit has operated weekday service on eight fixed-routes continuously since 1940. Three of the routes (Line 5, 7 and 9) provide service within the City of Torrance.  Five routes provide regional connections to Los Angeles (Line 1 and 2), Long Beach (Line 3), Metro Blue Line Artesia Station (Line 6) and Los Angeles International Airport (Line 8).  Service is also provided to Gardena, Redondo Beach, Lomita, Carson and numerous other communities within the South Bay region of Los Angeles County.  All of the routes, except Line 6, offer Saturday service.  Lines 1, 3 and 8 provide Sunday service.

Torrance Transit also offers a variety of other transit services to residents of the South Bay area.  The Torrance Community Transit Program provides Taxi service to our disabled and senior residents.  This exclusive service enables seniors and disabled residents to be conveniently picked up and taken to locations throughout the city.
